Since the 19th century, the Bond, Shanghai, was a big place for companies like HSBC, Baier etc and the former British Empire Embassy. On the other side of the Huangpu river, Lu Jiazui has grown into another new commercial center housing 20 other banks from around the world in the late 20th century.
If there was any chance to open a new restaurant in this area, it must be high class, super taste and different with its own identity. Sea Plaza is one of this kind of place.
Located by the river side of the Bond, Sea Plaza is a palace class boat restaurant on the Huangpu river. And StrongLED is honored to have the opportunity to use its technology to transform this floating palace into an indispensable part of the Bond lighting show.
Multi color LED illumination is placed in the squama channels scattering over the boat covered by yellow acrylics. Flash supportable Chameleon controller displays the preset impressive color flowing program and turn Sea Plaza into a floating light show stage; Linear lighting source-Digico Border are mounted on the boat top area bringing the sense of length of long boat nto visualality; on the deck area, BLAST brings a magic environment theme change while guests having their open air party on this floating palace on Huangpu River by the Bond.
Working on water is absolutely a test for above LED products, they have to resist high moisture air and high temperature. With presence of StrongLED technology, they have managed to achieve this goal successfully.
The Bond is one of the destinations for 3 million tourists coming to Shanghai each year and now, StrongLED is part of this. |
